Furnace Assistance

The new program year for Furnace Assistance will begin Tuesday, October 1, 2026.

LIHEAP

The Liheap program for the 2027 program year will start October 1, 2026. The program will run through August 15, 2027 or until funding is exhausted. You can call the Energy Administrative office at 618-443-5231 ext. 4 to make an appointment for either a phone or in-person appointment to complete an application. If would like to complete the application yourself, you may pick up a paper application packet from our Literature Boxes which are located outside of each of our four Outreach Offices. You may also print an application off of this website by selecting Liheap from the Energy Assistance tab. Select Liheap Application PY27 under the Resource section. The application contains instructions for completion and how to return the application to Western Egyptian.
