Energy Assistance

For many Illinois households, energy costs place a severe and continuing stress on the family’s budget. In some instances, the household is forced to make painful decisions regarding which bills to pay and which necessities to survive without. Western Egyptian partners with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Ameren to provide a variety of energy assistance programs. Energy Savings

You have the power to save money and energy in your own home. Saving energy reduces our nation’s demand for the resources needed to make energy, and improving your energy efficiency is like adding another clean energy source to our electric power grid. The result is reduced utility bills and money in your pocket. Improving your energy efficiency can also improve the comfort of your home and your quality of life
